29C is only 84 degrees F. And that was with me using the phone a little beforehand, in a room with an ambient temperature of about 75, so its really not _that_ hot.

Not something I usually do... it was for a school project... only had 6 people connecting... But yes I know. I will take the hit for that.. You are 100% correct. And actually "seeding" is probably not the right word... I broadcasted some files off my laptop through my phone.... you will have to forgive my verbage... I am still kind of a noob in the IT world.

So, with the help of supakilla, I'm testing my phone out. Basically just having an hour phone call just leaving the hpone connected. It's only been 5 minutes so far, but the phone is still cool. I'm in low signal, roaming, 1x right now too. acbPowerMeter is showing an average of 556mA power usage since the beginning of the call, so we'll see the average power usage over the whole hour, and see if I have any issues with the charger cutting out (it is on charge too).

It's been 15 minutes, phone is still cool. Took it off the charger to see if it affected power usage, and power usage did drop some, so I'm not sure on that one. Reconnected charger now and it doesn't want ot start charging again (even though the phone is still only slightly warm, not hot at all).

Ok, so an hour later, charging only cut out twice briefly, but the device didn't get any more than warm to the touch, even on the back. Average power was 550mA, which is understandable given that I am in a super low coverage area (between 0 and 2 bars, fluctuating, roaming) - i don't know how I held a call for an hour without dropping.

I'm certainly willing, and will do this when I get my TP on Monday.

One other thing, I generally have 6% or so signal, so my phones have always eaten more battery while at home, so that should help exacerbate the problem even more I hope.
