Re: is the pro battery suppose to be better than the diamond?
I really hope so, I was planning on buying a bigger card to use it as an mp3 player like you, but the 12-16 battery life is horrible. This thing is on the charger more than it's on my hip.

Doesn't it have the same battery? If so, I don't see how it would be much better...

Re: is the pro battery suppose to be better than the diamond?
The CDMA version of the diamond has the same battery as the touch pro... The GSM diamond does have a smaller battery currently but the sprint versions have the exact same sized batteries...
Do you notice worse life than touch/titan? |

Re: is the pro battery suppose to be better than the diamond?
Yes, no matter how many tweaks a ROM can have, battery life suck! I didnt know they use the same battery that way when I get the PRO I will send the Diamond w/o the battery =)

I'm not sure it's the same battery, but definitely the same size....

Battery
I've done multiple things with different batteries. I've let them just die and then let them charge all the way afterwards, and I've let them charge up as soon as I got them. what is the exact thing your supposed to do with your battery when you get it? I just wanna make sure my battery works great when I get it. thanx for the input ^_^

Re: Battery
to prolong battery hold charge I always use it till it's really low then i rechage. Good over the long run. It's a little harder to do it with ppc's since u end up having to recharge several times, that's why i just carry a spare.

Re: Battery
lithium based rechargeable's are supposed to be stored with ~1/2 charge.. if you leave it dormant with a full charge, it will loose power, but still "think" it's full when it's not. so the best thing to do is "train" it by defining what empty and full actually are.
basically when you get a new battery it's best to either charge or drain fully first. I don't really think it matters which, but personally I always full drain, full charge, full drain, full charge, then get on with my life, repeating the cycle every so often. what NOT to do (with new battery); start using right away and charge randomly to get though the day. also I believe charging with the phone off will fill the battery more than if the phone is on.
