ok good...ive been doing this with my mogul but a cpl pages ago they were saying to not charge more than what it says on the plug-in and that says 5 hrs. i was shocked cause it would suck to put it on at 10pm and umplug it at 3am.

i thought the 5hrs was the time that it took to get a FULL charge not the max to put it on.

...then the phone obviously switches to external power once fully charged so your battery will be freshly ready for you in the morning

For me... I had my pro for about three days now... and not that happy with the batterylife... well again I only had it for only three days. Will see how it works out after I do a complete recycle on battery couple times... and hopefully it gets better...

Had a Diamond, took it back because of the HEAT and got the TP.

Wow - same problem with heat. Case gets so warm that it discolors!!!

Anybodiy else seein this!!!

WTF are you doing that gets it so hot? Mine only gets warm under heavy use....

Mine heated up pretty good while on Youtube.

I only noticed after very heavy use in the middle of the rear case- right by the HTC logo. That's it. No discoloration, and nowhere near as bad as my Diamond was

Mine gets hot right above the ERTDFG keys, as well as on the back, but never really unbearably hot, and only while charging and doing things intensive.
