Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
This worked on my VZW HTC Touch Pro. Only problem I had was CDMA data wasn't working and the FAQ couldn't fix it. I found if I made an APN with the Name Internet and the APN of "vzw" this fixed it and CDMA data worked.
However, the phone is now painfully slow and I get a lot of crashes when Android doesn't want to wait for the app to finish. |

Does anyone know the apn settings for Alltel. I would really appreciate the help. All my searches have come up empty handed. Thanks to the developers, and everyone else for their input to XDANDROID it is awesome.

i will post more info after testing is done and it's ready to be released. but a fix is in the works for us! thanks to the xdandroid development team!!

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
I must say this is very very cool. Just ran through the instructions, partitioned my SD card on both a Diamond and TouchPro using WM5Storage.cab method (easy as pi)... then did the simple method as shown in post #1. I have owned an EVO for 3 weeks now and did all initial testing on my old Touch Pro. I like it so much I am putting in on my son's diamond. I would like to know how to run Sense on the android build, any simple instructions for that?
