Re: Are you having trouble staying in 3G (getting stuck in 1X), VZW TP2 folks?

I have Sprint and once I flashed Energy Leo and provisioned it, it swapped 1x and revA every 10 seconds with A STRONG revA signal on my other lines.. I went back to Mighty and it was fixed. I am assuming it's a provisioning or config issue within the device..

Please contact Kevin via Email or phone. He is the central person we should all be dealing with. His contact info is:

Kevin Drakeford
kevin.drakeford@verizonwireless.com
843-566-8600 EXT 1789
Charleston, SC Call Center

He is a tech supervisor. If all of us complain to 1 person, the chances of it being seen as a real "problem" and not an isolated issue are much higher. I urge everyone who has had this problem to please contact him. Thanks!

Re: Are you having trouble staying in 3G (getting stuck in 1X), VZW TP2 folks?

At this point my phone is SPL unlocked and I flashed to MightyRom 11/10 version, I have also reflashed the VZ 1.88.07 radio from Juggs radio threads which was originally from MetalMayhem which is supposed to be a good version of the stock radio.
I wonder if maybe some of us got a glitchy stock radio.
So far good EV/3G connection...
Will update if gets stuck again...
If this doesn't work I'll try the USC 2.05 radio.
Good luck!

So your 2nd Imagio's doing it and the first one did it also? This seems really widespread over diff devices/areas.

Well, that didn't take long, after my first soft reset reinstalling programs, stuck in 1x, soft reset again, stuck in 1x

Now flashed USC 2.05 radio...will report back...

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro 2: Opera/9.5(Microsoft Windows; PPC; Opera Mobi/16643; U; en) HTC_Touch_Pro2)

FWIW, I just went to a Verizon store to play with the Moto Droid. The HTC Eris right next to it was showing 1x only.

Did you look at the Imagio? The store I went to, the Imagio was the ONLY phone that was showing a 1X. That's scary if the HTC Android phone was doing it... maybe it's more than a software fix... could be a hardware issue. I guess we'll see.

Re: Are you having trouble staying in 3G (getting stuck in 1X), VZW TP2 folks?

Well that was quick also....
So now at least I can personally confirm that neither reflashing the VZ 1.88.07WV from MetalMayhem nor the USC 2.05 radio will solve the stuck in 1x problem...
Still stuck in 1x with the new radios.
Oh well...hopefully there will be a new update someday..

I'm guessing you meant "will not solve the problem".

Did the 2.05 radio actually work? I thought people were bricking their phones using it. Any improvement using that?
