You're stuck in 1X. Try 57 reprogramming calls intermixed with soft resets and a few incantations to your favorite deity and you'll be good to go. Repeat as needed.

I think by now we all realize there is a problem. What we all need to focus on is a fix to this annoying problem. Is Verizon going to contact HTC and report the problem? From my perspective I think its a HTC issue. I think its hardware as well.

I place another ticket with Verizon yesturday. The person I spoke with told me she was aware of this situation which now give me some hope. Is Kevin aware of this thread? All the information he would ever need is sitting right here. We are not making this up either HTC fix it on a re-call or software download or give us a new device.

He's Spring though... that will be the first I've heard of it being not isolated to just Verizon.

I started a Thread in the Imagio section regarding this as well. So HOPEFULLY, Kevin at VZW has been getting flooded with Emails and Calls! That's my hope. For those of you who haven't emailed or called, his contact information is on post #1.

Has anyone exchanged their touch pro 2 stuck in 1x, and gotten one that works fine in evdo? I'm thinking about an exchange, still stuck around 150kbps and Sprint tech support is out of ideas.

I wonder if Verizon did something on the network side to fix this.
For the last two days I'm staying in 3G without any problems!

Anybody experiencing the same?

That could be related to the VZW TP2 now "Back In Stock".
They may have stopped selling them untill the issue was addressed.
I hope that when the newer models are offered, that the TP2 price will go a little lower.

Mine has worked for a couple days as well.....then BAM!!! sometimes I cannot even get out of 1X using all the tricks.

Yeah... I'm been doing good for a bit now too. Its too early to tell though. I've gone upto a week with everythign fine and then I turn it on see it's in 1X at the same location I've been at for a while.
