What is that hack again? My imagio stuck again yesterday..Sick of it. to get it out I switched to airplane mode a few times and back...

I've voted "no issues". Had my tp2 only 1 month, but so far "knock wood" I have not had this or any other of the issues described on these forums. This has been the most solid device from htc yet, and rf for me has been top notch. I am in 3g maybe 99% of the time. Even when hiking last week in an area I'd a thought hard to get signal, I had 3g. I will continue to baby my baby and hoping for a wonderful and long relationship.

Well, I experienced this for the first time last night, and it does seem to be related to certain areas. I was at a place last night that had a strong 3G signal, but yet it kept dropping down to 1x when I would try to use the data. Once it was in 1x, it would stay there until I did a soft reset with psShutXP.

Funny thing is, at my house I have a weak signal, but yet it always seems to stay in 3G.

On my 3rd Touch Pro2 now. The screen is more yellowish and the keyboard isn't as bright, but if it doesn't have the stuck in 1x problem, I'll live with those 2 things.

I installed the big pimp cab with s2u2 and G-alarm and now where it once showed 3G on the title bar it now shows Ev. Am I getting 3G or verizon's old EVDO?

EV is synonymous to 3G.

I did the hack that #174 talks about,,,Im back to stuck 1X again. Hell, I dont know what to do. How many times can you return a phone to Verizon for a diff phone within 30days. I turned in my TP2 to get this one and Im coming close to 30 days ? If Crack Berry Storm 2 comes out before the 30 I may go with it if I can do another exchange.

You can do it as often as you want. I've been putting notes in the return boxes with specific details about this issue. It seems like 3rd time is a charm in my case. The one I have now has been good since I've gotten it *crosses fingers*.

I saw the settings tweak in in post #174 and this is probably a very noobie question but what does tweaking the wifi adapter have to to do with your 3g connection? I can get evdo with my wifi off and it seems all those settings have to do with connecting to a wifi network not the 3G network? Can someone please clarify?
