I dropped my dayum phone (Sprint HTC TP2) in the aquarium two weeks ago (dont ask). I also have my HTC Hero as my backup phone in case something were to happen to my TP2. In this instance, since I activated my Hero online as soon as it was apparent the TP2 was inoperable, Asurian had shipped me another HTC HERO! I called and they corrected the error by sending out a brand new Touch Pro 2. I sent back both phones. I had to pay the $100 deductible- which the operator says is standard with damaged HTC devices. I am very glad I had this insurance- which I never used previously. They ship Fedex the VERY next working day from KY. I live in Ohio so I got the Hero the next day and the HTC TP the day after I made the call to tell them they sent the wrong phone. Great service! They really want you to have your phone ASAP!!!

asurian is def the sh!t.
when my tp1 touchscreen crapped out they tried to offer me blackeberry and treo's. I said no its not comparable so they sent me out a brand new TP2 THE NEXT DAY TO AN ALTERNATE ADDRESS BECAUSE I WAS FLYING OUT OF TOWN SAME DAY. My phone arrived before my plane even touched down. |

Agreed with OP, very hassle free. I had a bb curve, got wet, called, didnt have bb curve in stock, replaced with Treo 755p (ah ha! now I can go back to my sero w/o bb b.s. data plan)
Anyway very hassle free, I remember the csr on the other end laughing because I was in shock that they covered water damage and were so willing to swap with a different phone. (Probably a gain to them... Don't care, goodbye extra $30/mo for me) |
