Often times, if youre really just being unlucky, you can talk them into sending you another replacement

I lost my Apache for the first time early last year while I was at a work site 80 miles away from my house. I had told the rep that it's doubtful I will have the phone for them and to send the packaging incase someone retrieves it; she said no problem. Two days later, I get a brand new Touch Pro (NICE!), and the return equipment packaging. I never sent anything in and was only charged $50 for the deductible.
Anyway, bottom line is, if you claim your phone is lost or stolen, they will not hold you accountable if it isnt returned to them.
