Re: TP2 and Asurian Insurance - WOW
water damage is not covered under 1 year warranty for a replacement phone . If the water mark is pink you are screwd ($100 for sprint)

Re: TP2 and Asurian Insurance - WOW
If I drop my phone and crack the screen and go through Asurion to get a replacement, is the old phone blacklisted or can I later replace the screen and sell it off?

Re: TP2 and Asurian Insurance - WOW
yeah Asurion, how it spelled, only allows 2 replacement in one calendar year!!! so as the other user said... be careful with it lol!!! but they are always smooth and easy on reordering my phone, i have sprint and i have the same insurance!

Re: TP2 and Asurian Insurance - WOW
assurion doesnt let you keep the old handset. they include a prepaid envelope to send it back in. if they dont recieve it in a set number of days you are charged a nonreturned equipment fee as low as 200 dollars and as high as the full retail value of the replacement handset. they dont always do this as ive heard alot of posts saying they didnt get charged and a lot saying they kept it and did get charged. most people just return the handset. the only time you dont have to is if you filed the claim because its lost.

Re: TP2 and Asurian Insurance - WOW
Well they screwed me... the motor on my vibrate went out in mine and it was still under warranty. They argued with me on the phone and tried to make me pay the deductible..talking about if there was a problem with the motor in the vibrate I should have called when I received the phone. I'm like WTF???? The thing JUST went out and its a manufacturers problem. So then they gave me the run around and made me find a service center to let them verify that the phone didnt have any "physical" damage before they would replace it without the deductible.
I did that and then they sent me a damn refurb.. no box, no screen protector no nothing. |
