Re: Who plans to go HD2?
Oh gosh, I can't keep up with all this. I just (1 month) got a TP2 to replace my TP1. I like it, it works, it does what I want and more. Its a bit large, but not so god ugly and large as the 6700 I carried around for 2 years. There will always be something better. I'm keeping this one for a while unless it starts getting buggy like the last few TP1s I had.

Re: Who plans to go HD2?
I would love to switch but I know I won't for 3 reasons:
1. I just renewed my contract with Sprint and don't want to struggle with trying to remove the ETF 2. I think the HD2 is just a little too big for my tastes, even the screen is absoluetly gorgeous 3. I'm so used to the hardware keyboard on my TP2, I couldn't stand to think of parting with it Now if they make a TP3 with HD2 specs but including a good physical keyboard, then I'll jump ship for any carrier |

Re: Who plans to go HD2?
+1 agreed. I left tmo for their poor coverage and I'd never go back for any phone. Verizon and sprint both will be getting some nice stuff in 2010. Patience is your key here.

Re: Who plans to go HD2?
Everyone has their own experiences with different carriers and for every good story about a carrier, someone else will have a bad one. Lets leave the carrier discussion out of it and assume that this phone will roll out to all carriers. In that case, I will be reluctant as I agree with the majority of people who have posted, that a hardware keyboard is needed for my everyday use.

Re: Who plans to go HD2?
Hey I wasn't the one in here saying it wasn't true. I said it was true and a bunch of people called BS on me so I posted a link. I never said it was new news. It being old news is part of the reason I was shocked that nobody here had heard of it.

Re: Who plans to go HD2?
I absolutely hate people saying tmobile sucks... Ill put my speeds up to any of yours and I bet I win or come close..... Look up Tmobile coverage map then put in 97024 for the zip code, you will see all 3g, everywhere near me..... I had sprint right before this and It also was fast but would switch to 1x quit alot every now and then, granted for like 1 min. vs 1 hour 3g... But I maybe go on Edge now with tmobile maybe like once every few days for like 20 sec..............
So, Tmobiles speeds dont suck, its that their coverage isnt as wide as the others, but where ya get good 3g, its definantly just as fast... I never leave my town and have driven 30 miles each way around me and still get great 4 bar 3g where as with sprint id get 2 bars 3g................... And if your experience with them was in the past like in 2003, shutup, its 7 years later lol........ It all depends on where ya live... sprint and verizon however do have coverage in more areas...... That doesnt make their speeds any better...... Now back on topic.. I said in earlier posts maybe I would switch to the LEO.... But I ask myself why???????? For what..... Whats the gb processor gonna do? Open the program 1 second faster or load the page faster? Other than that meh.... Do I really need a 4.3 inch screen? I mean 3 months ago everyone said 3.6 is too big, now its small?????? Oh and what 90 more ram? or is it rom??? wow, I never have a issue with Either??? wow a 5mp camera with a flash?? dude its a phone cam, look at the droids, it sucks...... capacitive screen???? wow, you really need to pinch zoom and maybe a little more sensitive to the touch????? wow, I still think id miss the stylus or it would be annoying if the screen didnt work with thin gloves on in the winter time...... Its upgradeable to winmo 7???? wow,, do you really think itll be out this year? I dont... And plus by then a tp3 will be out with the same specs or better with a keyboard....... And lord Id miss my keyboard...... I ASK MYSELF, are these minor things, a tad faster cpu, slightly better cam, capacitive screen and 90 more ram or rom worth the 600 bucks and loosing a keyboard to only be running the same thing as we are now...... To me the jump from tp1 to 2 was worth it, the screen was too small on the tp1, it lagged alot, its keyboard was cramped and most of all the battery life sucked so bad it was like having to be hooked up to a resperator........ The tp2 works for me for now....... I love my tilt and keyboard.....
