I give up. I attempted to do this about 8 times and got no where. I tried pulling the battery but for some reason when I select recovery it just reboots the phone and won't give me the wipe options.

If anyone wants the Latest PRI, use AvaFroyoV5 Custom ROM. It has it. Thats what I am using right now.

The PRI cannot be built into a ROM. Any links or information to back this up?

It took me several tries but I finally got the update.

For me 3G speed has improved to just over 2mbps, what I was previously getting on 4G, and now 4G goes as high as 5mpbs, with lower ping and seems to "connect" faster. (Faster IP assignment) I've never reached over 5mpbs on 4G as others have reported and my 4G speed varies greatly, sometimes only matching my new 3G speed.

Maybe 4G will improve once the build out the network and officially launch it in my area.

8? Haha man I have done it 22 times now with no results. Different places, different times, everything. No luck. This sucks haha.

do a Nanddroid backup, then boot android
##786# MSL
reboot into recovery
wiped everything only once though
rebooted
let it do hands free activation
skipped google login info looked at about phone

I don't get a question to enter msl after ##786#. It justs brings up a bunch of settings.

actually when that screen comes up with the setting hit menu>reset, then it will ask for you msl. Good luck man.

I decided to try again, as someone suggested with the Stock Rooted 2.2 and of course I decide to try in the middle of the night. After I flash to the 2.2 Stock Rooted, I ##3282# and restore, and get an error 1012 lol. Soooo I couldn't even get data until I tried again this morning when I woke up. Anyways, tried a couple more times and got nothing and have officially given up for now.

I'll wait until after I get back from California on Thursday. Maybe something else will be learned from this by then.
