Re: sound quality from pandora after froyo 2.2

In the mean time, you can search for the fix over at XDA, it involves and, or, yii can go into settings PaNdora, and set it to "high" I think it was. It will help some.

The fix over at xda corrects the Pandora problem BUT breaks a lot of other apps I would advise waiting it out or try slacker radio as it is working for the moment

Re: sound quality from pandora after froyo 2.2

I did the XDA fix with the script file, and it made a huge improvement with Pandora Radio. Seems alot louder playing on rear speaker, and seems super clear via bluetooth headphones. I personally have had no issues with other apps and this "fix" but who knows when I will see issues.

Something to try, if your phone is slowing down on froyo

My phone after updating to Froyo was becoming a little bit annoying. It would become really sluggish, slow, battery life went down the toilet and worst of all the browser was jumpy and not fluid at all anymore.
It got so bad that when I would turn my screen on from what was supposed to be sleep, it would take about 5 seconds before there was any screen response, just to unlock the phone. Then another few seconds before the screen responded again.
I did not add any new apps, although I do understand some older apps may not be written for froyo and could cause problems. Everything was pretty much the same from 2.1 to 2.2. I did add Netarchys 3.7.6c froyoized kernal over top of OMJ.

Here is the something to try that worked wonders for my phone. Boot into recovery and wipe cache and davlik just like you would if you were flashing a new rom. Only thing is dont flash a new rom, just wipe and reboot. See if that helps with the overall sluggishness of the phone with Froyo. It worked for mine, screen response is great again, and the three browsers I use (skyfire, dolphin hd and stock) all scroll fluidly again. Battery life is up in the air only been a day.

Re: Something to try, if your phone is slowing down on froyo

i did this the other day and it made a huge!!! difference. Before my phone was moving very slow and the internet was horrible even on 4G. but afterwards everything is working perfectly except that my weather location every once in a while gets my location very wrong

Re: sound quality from pandora after froyo 2.2

i have been using Pandora for about a month and everyday since the 2.2 update and i don't notice any difference at all... i am on DC 3.5 ROM... so maybe something is different about it compared to stock?

did you maybe for get to set the audio quality setting to high?
