Re: FroYo 2.2 -- A List of Bugs & Issues

I think the biggest thing that some of you need to remember is that just because youre able to install an app doesnt mean its compatible with 2.2 yet. Its kinda like there was some widget I was using that wouldnt let my phone sleep.

Your average user may have downloaded a bunch of crap, then slap 2.2 over it; users may experience problems.
Again this is what I did and its fine, in fact thats exactly what HTC and Sprint say you can do.

I am using all the same apps I had on 2.1. but you should check to see if your apps have been updates for 2.2 whis most have.

Of course, because most situations everything will be fine. I can't believe some of the random crap my wife downloads to hers. I'm doing a wipe before she upgrades. lol...

Re: FroYo 2.2 -- A List of Bugs & Issues

I am new to this software, I was watching afrer Bootloader run on phone. I saw patching which seems a starnge word for a fresh OS. Do not remember anything like this in WM. Will say that HTC guy was wrong when he said FPS would be fixed in 2.2. NNo problems with .3.

I take back no bugs phone just rebooted itself was laying on desk.

I guess it's a time zone thing. The 3rd comes on Tuesday here in CA

For everyone that's saying they're having no problems. Start playing music with the Sense Music Player then launch Google Navigation and attempt to navigate somewhere with Turn-By-Turn instructions and tell me if Google Navigation turns off your music player once Google Navigation speaks.

From what I've researched this is a Froyo bug, but I want to be sure.

Re: FroYo 2.2 -- A List of Bugs & Issues

Have any of you with issues actually called HTC to let them know of them? Posting in here and only here won't get the problems fixed....you need to post here and call them and let them know...so they can patch it without delay.

For those that are having issues...or have found bugs here is HTC's Technical Support Number.

1-866-449-8358

Everyone who is having these bug issues with Froyo on the HTC Evo 4G call them...the more they get the same issue...the faster they will respond with a fix.

Just figured I would throw that out to all ya since the Post's were all directed on who and who doesn't have issues...with nothing pertaining to calling HTC.
