Laggy with Froyo
Hey guys, I browse through these forums a good bit and read up as much as I can but I havent really found anything that helps with the problems that Ive been having lately.
It seems as if ever since updating to Froyo everything about my phone is way slower and a lot more laggy. Im on the Official Froyo ROM from Sprint and im not rooted. I notice major lag when typing/texting. Also on the internet, alot of web pages will sort of not want to scroll at all and it takes forever to scroll down a page. The most noticeable is probably when I go to pull down the notifications bar from the top, Ill swipe down on the screen and it wont move at all, then about 1-2 seconds later it will appear. I also experience lagginess in simple games like RoboDefense now. Even the lockscreen is very laggy on me... I dont have very many apps, and it just feels like this all started about the time I updated to Froyo. Is anyone else having these issues? Does anyone know of a fix? Thanks, Kelsey |

Re: Laggy with Froyo
did you do a 'hard reset' after updating? this has helped others with 'laggy' issues.
menu>settings>sd and phone storage>factory data reset first backup everything... you can use a backup program like mybackup app to restore everything back to the way you have them after the reset..since it'll erase everything.

Re: Cannot display contact's birthday on calendar after upgrading to 2.3 froyo
Mine is working fine, so there is light out there somewhere I suppose. Could it be Rom specific?
I'm on Fresh 3.1.0.1

Re: Laggy with Froyo
Also, lag in the browser is very well documented. Setting Enable Plugins to "On demand" helps quell the lag in the browser. It's basically a flash problem.
