When it comes in check for any light leakage, that could be an indication that you have a bad one. Hopefully should get one that isn't defective, but in the off chance that you do then you shouldn't have any trouble getting it replaced.

Mine is a 0003 as well. So far battery drain is my only real gripe, but I am still in the "tweaking" stage. Just got the phone last Sunday

Will they actually replace your phone for only light leakage (no lifting)?

Go in a dark place and see if light is showing just under the buttons on the bottom between the screen and body of the phone. It should be pretty obvious if it is happening.

Pretty sure they won't. However if you have light leakage then your screen is most likely starting to come up. It just might not be noticeable.

Re: Two versions of Evos

mine is a 003 i took mine off the charger in the morning.. around 8 something i guess, it had some light use.. some calls etc and around 7:30 it was still at 81%

i do have a little light problems on the bottom left, not much but its there.. not too worried since i guess its a known issue, im sure i can get a new one later on if it got worst. over all im happy with the phone.. i will get a 2nd battery as a back up ( what i did with the tp) and everything else is good.

Re: Two versions of Evos

003 here - got mine pre-order best buy launch day - so far I haven't noticed any problems. A friend of mine has an evo 002 version, I just went and grabbed it and I really can't tell the difference on the back cover at all. I would have never noticed anything unless I saw this. They still look the same to me but maybe I am just blind. Both of us has not have any issues SO FAR anyway. Our screens look fine.
