Two versions of Evos {Updated Results}

3 Attachment(s)
Alright guys, some might be disappointed in hearing this but there seems to be two different versions of the Evo!

I'm curious to see if there are any differences on how the phone runs and the build quality. This will be a very informative thread if people respond.

You can tell by clicking menu < settings < about phone < hardware information.

The first batch has a hardware version of 002.
The new batch has a hardware version of 003.

Now with this being said, can people check to see which version they have and inform the rest of us if you are experiencing any issues at all.
Issues being battery life, wifi signal strength....anything of that nature. (Keep in mind that battery life is user generated, so don't give a detailed battery report. Just an approximate average battery life.)

Another thing to note about the different versions:

The battery doors are different. The old batch (Hardware version 002) have a light black door with a metallic/sparkle look to them. The new batch (Hardware version 003) has a solid dark black look to it.

I'll start out:

Hardware Version: 002

No light leak, no battery issues, wi-fi seems good. The 4 LEDS stay off when phone is off. Battery life is around 20 Hours of normal use.

UPDATE: Pictures of different backs. Source: Myn at XDA Developers. I take no credit, all credit goes to him. First picture is 0002, second appears to be 0003 or later.

RESULTS FROM 21 PAGES:
In Excel screen capture.

Results seem very similar besides the ones highlighted in red.

Apart from these results, some users mentioned the power button is different on 0002 and 0003. I believe it is more flush on 0002. I cannot confirm this because I do not have both versions.

Yea, it seems to me that hardware version 0002 is more stable. But with that being said one would assume if HTC came out with a newer version, it would have been more stable.

I have two 0002 versions. One has a pinkish tint to the screen & the other has some slight grounding issues

I have the pinkish tint when turning the phone on an angle. But I figured it was how the screens are and not related to the Evo.

Does the other Evo not have the tint to it?
