Btw it's goodnto mention that this an update of the ota that they modified so you can still use their root. So people who updated already need to wait.

Supported Devices

This fix currently supports the following Android phones:

*
Sprint EVO 4G (HTC Supersonic) that has not already been updated with the 2010-06-29 OTA update.

This is NOT for people that installed the 6/28 update.

Yeah, they just modified the OTA so it can be installed and not loose root.

Wow this wiki page has the most detailed change log of this update so far. Look at this one they wrote.

"Increases bitrate for MPEG4 videos recorded from 6MBit to 8MBit."

Has anyone tested the video recording for a quality bump?

Yes, they changed the rate from 6 to 8 so there is less compression, but the fps is still very low. Step in the right direction.
