When it comes in check for any light leakage, that could be an indication that you have a bad one. Hopefully should get one that isn't defective, but

how do i check for light leakage? like backlight light between the LCD and the buttons at the bottom or somethin like that? haha im a noob with android phones all win mo forever here
Go in a dark place and see if light is showing just under the buttons on the bottom between the screen and body of the phone. It should be pretty obvious if it is happening.
