Not necessarily. We manufacture weighing indicators. After our first release, the next major project was "costing". We found the market and had a device that worked. Next, we were to find a way to make is cheaper and therefore more profitable.

We replaced expensive parts with less expensive. We simplified the the design. In truth, our first release was far more rugged and more hand-built. We all knew that the first run was the best we would ever make. Such is business.

Re: Two versions of Evos {Updated Results}

002 No issues so far - gotta say this is the best phone I have ever used - does everything I would expect - of course running 4g in Chicago with phone calls texting etc does put a hurting on the battery. Great device though better than expected - better keyboard app made it perfect for my hand size too

Re: Two versions of Evos {Updated Results}

Hey guys, I've been MIA for a while on this thread. But I have updated the results from the past 21 pages or so.

It seems to me that 0002 versions are more prone to raised screens and the battery door being raised a little on the right side of the phone. Some users also mentioned that the power buttons are different on the versions. (Keep in mind, its a small poll. But just stating what the numbers said.)

Excel screen picture posted on the first page.

Re: Two versions of Evos {Updated Results}

hmmm, now this is weird... i have hardware 002 (in settings) but my back cover is the 003 picture from the first page

Anyone else notice this? is the picture flipped? Custom ROMs wouldn't change the hardware number right?
