I think Sept. 14th is just for web and telesales. They will be in the stores soon after.

Like I said before. I am the very first one that cracked the release date. I said sept. 14 is the release date and a lot of eyebrowse went up the roof. I was right all along.

Stores usually receive the devices anywhere from a day to a week in advance. However they cannot be sold until the release date.

I may not get diamond. I just found out that I really need this phone

HTC Touch HD

* Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
* Qualcomm 7201A processor @ 528MHz
* 512MB ROM / 256MB RAM (+32MB on processor)
* WVGA
* 115mm x 62.8mm x 12mm
* GPS / HSDPA etc. etc.
* 5 Megapixel camera (no flash)
* No Dpad or scroll wheel, does have a stylus
* microSD slot
* 1350mAH battery
* 3.5mm headset jack on the top

they CAN be sold if they come up in the system with a price when scanned... come on, if there are cooked cops, there are crooked sprint reps lol

that phone won't be out for ages lol

I wouldn't hold my breath for this. Its going to be a long time before we hear anything about Sprint getting this... Also.. HD is taking overthe threads.. There should be maybe one Touch HD thread soo ppl dont hijack threads about it.

I have to agree. The diamond and the touch pro haven't even come out yet. Does the diamond even have a real official release date to the stores

. Anyways with these 2 phones not even out, how long do you think it will be before sprint or verizoin get that phone. If you want to keep using your mogul with only 46 ram so you can keep your rebate for a phone that won't come out for at least a year then by far go right ahead.

Ok, I lied, this is my last post in this thread. For those of you waiting on the HD, it's the same thing as the Diamond really.. 256 RAM, 528mhz processors which are very similar. The only thing is, is that the HD has a sharper display which seems nice but may not support a lot of applications right now. Aside from anything else, by the time this phone is available for CDMA WinMo 7 will be already out. I plan to use my Diamond for a year, then swap to a WinMo 7 device.

Oh yeah, HD does have the head phone jack if that's really worth waiting a year though.
