lol...no sweat. As long as you don't mind that there is a chance that it could slip further, I definitely don't mind that there is a chance you could be exactly right about the 14th either... I haven't heard anything that makes it impossible, yet. |

Re: Its Official Sept. 14th Release of the Diamond on Sprint!
Even though online customer service is about as reliable as asking your mom for phone help, I was told by one that the phone will be released in the "middle of this month". I asked what date exactly and she just said she doesn't know. Dont know if that helped but thats what I heard.

Re: Its Official Sept. 14th Release of the Diamond on Sprint!
guys this isn't just engadget posting this - yahoo news and PC magazine and I assume many others are as well (I don't think yahoo/pcmag have ever given a previous release date on this nor do they engage in the types of speculation that engadget does). I would certainly guess this is straight from sprint as the WSJ has just released a review of the actual sprint version of this device as well....

My sister showed me her sheet from work (aka Sprint HQ Campus in KS) and it says the 14th.

Re: Its Official Sept. 14th Release of the Diamond on Sprint!
I speculate that since Wall Street Journal, Yahoo News and PC Magazine are all stating that the release is the 14th, this may place more pressure on Sprint to release it on that day. Of course Sprint could turn around and say that they are delaying it so they could make sure the device is perfect for the public, but i like the fact that such reputable sources are stating a 14th release. Come on Sprint, dont prove the Wall Street Journal wrong...

Re: Its Official Sept. 14th Release of the Diamond on Sprint!
I'd agree if sprint were marketing this as an answer to the Iphone but they are sticking to the instinct for that, so at this point my guess would be they don't care who's doing what with the Iphone, and just doing this the way they want.

Re: Its Official Sept. 14th Release of the Diamond on Sprint!
I suppose but Instinct isn't really an iPhone killer.. an iPhone killer would be the Diamond. Then again WinMo devices never have been compared with an iPhone, or phones out of their OS.
