Its Official Sept. 14th Release of the Diamond on Sprint!

Mainly because it is sometime in September, that was as close to the official launch date were gonna get, telesales maybe 14th store release dates differs from each location maybe?, But still sometime in September..

Where have you seen an official document from Sprint that's been released to the public that says the Diamond will be released on September 14? There's been lots of "Sprint employee xxx" says this, and screenshots, and stuff like that. But where have they made a press release or anything else official that says the 14th?

True, but if you can purchase it thru telesales, but they say it won't ship till sep 14th because thats the release day, what more do you need. many people have copied and pasted there receipts from evp accounts showing this. also they have pasted the comments that were included in their confirmation email also stating this.

Some people, including me, took screen shots of the EVPdiscount.com listing, but no one to my knowledge has shown a receipt. But even a receipt would be meaningless. EVPdiscount.com is an agent of Sprint, not Sprint corporate. And if you've been following the saga, EVPdiscount.com has been on-again, off-again, providing very inconsistent information. I count evpdiscount.com as being less reliable than Sprint customer service for release dates based on how they have been acting so far.

So on Sept. 14, would i be able to walk into the Sprint store right when they open and grab a diamond? Does it work like how the Nintendo Wii sales where the managers get the shipment early but holds out until the release day to sell it? I'm wondering if its release on Sunday, they wont be getting shipment until Monday.
