Tried this and I get and error "Data Call Failed." I'm 100% sure I did exactly what the post says, even flashing Kirvin's 3.5. No matter what I do I cannot get the data call to work. I think this is the source of the problem but I've tried with no username/password and I've tried the phoneumber@vzw3g.com/vzw combo and I get the same thing every time. "data call failed, incorrect user/pass" |

I'm on Verizon as well. Every time I've loaded one of these ROMs I've just had to create a new modem connection, put in the #777 and leave the username/pwd BLANK. It them typically will prompt me for username/pwd once or twice after that when trying to connect and as long as you still leave it BLANK it stops prompting. Perhaps delete the connection and create a new one. |

I had the same problem with MMS. Saridnours suggested adding Cert_SPCS.CAB, Customize_SPCS.sa.CAB, and IOTA.sa.CAB.
When I added PP_IOTA_v1_10_Apache_206300.sa.CAB and the Cert_SPCS.sa.CAB MMS worked fine. If you do not have the files they are located in the ExtROM cabs sticky in the index of this forum. |

I get the link and when I click on the link i get sent to the sprint picture mail website with the tiny thumbnail. I was able to click the link from my message and it did allow me to view the picture and save what not like in aku 2.2 but after that one time I can not replicate it. I know I can't be the only one who can't view the pictures. Are there any other things I can try? Reg edits? Thanks |

Saridnour- you out there? Haven't seen you post in a while!
Anyway... I'm having two issues that I'm not sure are related to this ROM (using pr5) but need to be addressed. 1) The screen keeps on going out of alignment. I realign the screen and its good for a while, but it seems to need it again after a soft reset. Sometimes NOT after a reset, but I'm not sure what is precipitating it. 2) BT is not staying connected. I press the headset button to connect and activate MSVC. I connect and we go through the command to dial a contact. (In these 3.3+ AKUs, I've noticed that BT connects at this point, then disconnects while the phone starts to dial, then reconnects when the ringing/audio starts.) Then, when it would normally reconnect, nothing happens. A quick press of the headset button re-establishes the audio gateway, but I've never had this happen before. And it is consistently happening on all outgoing calls. |

rbeaufor, that sounds correct...I guess I am in bootloader mode, if that is how it is supposed to look...
But I have tried many times to run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe...and it does load...but in the end, I am always back to the bootloader screen.... Hard resets just return it to bootloader mode as well.... |

http://www.ppcgeeks.com/stuck-in-boo...ootloader.html You will need to go into activesync on your PC, file menu->connection settings and uncheck USB first. Then connect your PC and run that application. Make sure you remember to re-check USB when you're done or you won't be able to sync again. |
