I also tried with low bit MP3 and higher bit WAV and it's the same deal. Any troubleshooting ideas? This is the first BT stereo headset I've owned. Everything works awesome except music is unlistenable! Thanks in advance.
I guess you're selecting "Set as Wireless Stereo" under Bluetooth/Devices? The only other thing that occurs to me is when I've experienced what you describe as "can't play a song for more than a second without it skipping all around ... " it's because I'm trying to play protected WMA files with a player that can't play them.

Just read the authors first post on this thread. You have the basic problems everyone first does with a stereo bluetooth headset. The 6700 can't seem to output the highest quality sound. So . . . you have to use mortplayer and use the settings as specified in the first post. You're also going to have to go into the registry and reduce the quality of the sound transmitted by the 6700 - until it no longer skips. This has been covered in detail on this thread - so definitely go back and read through.

Yes, thanks for jogging my memory. Haven't been to the beginning of this thread in ages.

Try using ##786 send. The codes work for me if I input them that way. ##code Send

We are all enjoying the numerous benefits of the tremendous amount of work saridnour put into this rom. For my purposes, pr6 could be the final version. It is stable, it is fast, and it has all the functionality that I need. I first got interested in rom upgrades when I purchased some BT stereo headphones and discovered that my old Sprint rom didn't support BT stereo. Well, suffice it to say that saridnour, with contributions from the other rom creators here at ppcgeeks, has provided me with BT stereo and much, much more. I heartily thank saridnour for all his good work!

Mono Bluetooth headset with this ROM

I have a regular mono bluetooth headset (motorola H700), and I can't get audio to come through the headset to listen to music. It worked perfectly with the Sprint 2.0 ROM using the BTToggle app that I wrote, but I'm not having any luck with Saridnour's 3.5+pr6 ROM. It works fine for phone calls, I just can't get it to transfer the audio to the headset when i'm not in a call.

Thanks!

BTabcToggle will do this, as will trianglepowers BT-Audio route.

abc is a lot faster, maps to hardware button and has no requirements for .NET so ive attached it for you.
