prettytonydotnet: I would post your question to the titan thread as they would be more up on the unit in general as to the average user. That being said though, I would guess that the unit could be used on sprint more so if one could get the drivers off the htc build and merge it on the sprint build in a hybrid rom, but then again one would have to compare the builds. I would need access to the romes as well as a device to test so I can not offer much more on this unfortunatly.

Hi! I'm using your PR6 on a Verizon XV6700 - everything seems to be running smoothly - thank you. One question, is there a way to change the system font. The current font has a bit of a fuzzy appearance (like clear type is on, but I know you've turned it off, and I checked that it is off in Wisbar). When ever there is a word with two lls or iis or similar letter combos, it makes the letters have a reddish hue. What font are you using and what is the standard font? Thanks again! Chris

ChrisFix: I am using the standard system font (don't have the info in front of me). Clear type is off in most places although it does seem to be active in the main system as it is still checked in the control-display setting. May want to see if you have that toggled on or off. Just looks like I missed one reg entry somewhere for that one. I did add some addtioanl fonts, but they should only be used in IE or other apps that you would enable them in.

definitely not working right
So my phone was running the origional rom and had practically ceased being functional as a phone from it's use over the last year. I finally started reading up on all of the new information available on roms.
Went to install the newest Sprint rom for my phone so as to update the radio rom etc. Didn't work properly from my Vista computer and my phone was stuck in bootloader. Used my xp computer to get outta bootloader and successfully load the newest official rom into my phone. Then, I installed your newest rom and immediately: Upon soft reseting, brand new install of your rom, I get a pop up window saying "sddaemon.exe" "The file sdaemon cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of it's components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file." Then, I can open up the Calander some of the time, but if I make a new appointment and click ok. "An unexpected error has occurred in this program." I then attempted to restore contacts/appointments using PPCPimBackup which went through it's process and nothing appeared in my appointments. Finally, I went to sync with my Vista computer (I origionally used an XP laptop to actually install the rom because XP has all the documentation) and it connects, recognizes the device, but when it trys to sync it gives an error. I read somewhere in the last few pages someone mentioning a duplication of menu items. I have duplicated start menu shortcuts. Any help? As far as everything else goes, it's amazing to have a working phone again even if there are things that aren't working. From what little I've played with, I Love your rom. Just hope I can fix these issues.

raptoreb: Sounds like you did not get a good hard reset in. The image that is displayed on the rom loading app is incorrect. Make sure to use the two soft buttons on the fron of the unit (either sid of the windows and ok buttons) at the same time as a soft reset. It should prompt you y/n to hard reset. Also make sure not to restore any data with a backup app or copying old data files back in. Restoring from activesyns and adding back in 3rd part apps (games and etc) should not be an issue.
I would recomend a hard reset, verify that it clears. Then get it in bootlaoder mode again and reload the rom. Then again after the rom is loaded be sure to hard reset once more (making sure they you see the y/n prompt). I also recomend not loading the extended rom (dialog that pops up after going through the welcome config- a soft reset gets you past it) and loading the components that you need manualy later as some pieces of the extended will cause issuse in the os. These bits are carrier dependant and are noted in this thread. Hope this helps and good luck.  -saridnour

You are a god amongst men. Thanks for the quick response. Origionally, I used the Clear Storage Application so that I could get active sync working so that I could install the new rom...
Anyways, I'm redoing everything with your suggestions and I'll keep you updated.

So, a hardreset that resetup your rom (without loading any new roms in) has everything working properly. Should I leave it as is or resend a rom from my computer etc?
Additionally, do you know what hacks need to be applied with this? like EVDO ring through etc?

hey everyone, im getting multiple preference icons in the start menu, when I click on it, it attempts to pull up a web page, then it displays some html in the page. Anyone know why that is happening? Also, my windows live takes me to the service agreement every single time I access it. im thinking that I put the folder in the wrong place when I installed it or something, but I really dont know. thanks everyone.
