Saridnour ,

Just to confirm, can I flash this to my Telus 6700 without affect original Extrom and Radio ROM?

PolloLoco: Wisbar and xcpuscalar work just fine together as I run wisbar lite all the time and ocasionally use xcpuscalar. Try them after a hard reset without loading any other apps and see if you can open and close xcpuscalar. I have the values set in the reg for my preffered settings one of which was start minimized if I am not mistaken. It should go right to the system servie area at start (did you turn the service app area off?).

Thanks Saridnour. I'm giving Wisbarlite another chance. I found out that on default the "close button" was set to minimize/cancel. On my PPC, it was treating the OK button on XCPUScalar as a close command - which was frustrating as heck. I've changed the setting to "minimize/ok" and it looks like the programs are playing well together.

I've noticed a little bit of sluggishness in closing/minimizing - but I'll reserve my judgement for a few days of use. I do like the fact that the task manager is handy - but off of the today screen. That saves me some real estate. So hopefully the memory/speed loss won't be too much of a hassle.

I would just like to thank you for this version. I was getting frustrated with PR5 do to lock ups and loosing my SD card constantly. I have been running PR6 for over 24 hours now, and have not had either of these issues show up yet.
Thank you again!

As for Bubble Breaker, it runs fine on my machine.

Does anyone know how I could put the MSN software back on my device, seeing as how Saridnour removed it from the ROM? I'm guessing I'd run the cab he made to replace the registry settings, but would I then replace the exe files (from a 2.2 build) in the Windows folder?

Ideally, I just want to be able to track my hotmail through the message bar as I was able to on 2.2. I tried the new MSN Live beta - but it was too much of a resource hog for me.

I did several hard reboots last night and it's been stable all day today. Less sluggish, soft resets don't hang so far. I had to do several on Pr5 too to solve the problems.

Sar: I can confirm the Bubblebreaker problem as well. No biggie though, it works fine even though it throws the error.

The contacts View By Company issue still remains, and I'm not the only one reporting this issue. (Which is good to hear, cause I thought I was the only one).

I have had any time to load a ROM from someone else. It's just too much trouble having to reset my SSL cert, email, etc.

I might just have to wait until your next ROM version comes out before I can do that, then it's not such a big deal (flashing someone elses ROM, then yours).

Thanks for all your hard work. Today is the first day that I've been running PR6 that I've had a lockup (couldn't bring the phone back from its "sleep" mode). But I've had that trouble with all versions, including official.

Your ROM rocks. Very fast and very stable.

Suffered a DSOD this evening. When I did a soft reset, the light went dim again after the logon screen went away. I managed to skulk my way into the settings for the backlight and click it off and back on to get the light to come back on.

An observation on the soft reset bug:

After a soft reset tonight, the screen locked up. It took a couple of additional soft resets to get it back to normal. Then just for the heck of it, I began soft resetting. Got lots of locked screens. During all of this, I was using my 3rd party extended battery with about 30% charge. Changed batteries to fully charged original Sprint battery. Since then, I've soft reset more than a dozen times with no more lockups. This made me wonder if the battery could be the culprit in the soft reset bug...

--jendand

Later Edit: Well, today it started locking on soft reset with the Sprint battery. In fact, after several resets, I couldn't get it to go back to normal. I replaced the Sprint battery with the extended third party battery, and then everything was okay again. I haven't the foggiest what all of this means, except changing to a fully charged battery seems to help.

Yes. Saridnour's rom does not come with an extended rom or radio patch files. It will only update the OS
