Just another update, to make a call (even local) I must dial the full phone number with area code.

Its almost like I am not on the Verizon Network now.

Scott,

I wonder if the Sprint PRI got installed on your phone. Are you willing to do a master reset? That may be the only way to fix this. It's basically a hard reset but also erases your phone number from the phone so it must be re-programmed. Doing this is the only way to revert the PRI (Product Release Instructions) back to the original Verizon ones.

Here's how:

Go to the phone pad and type ##RTN#

Click the reset button (right softkey)

Enter your MSL (should be 000000 for Verizon)

After the reset finishes you'll get the Welcome setup wizard like a normal hard reset.

Allow the Verizon extrom to load (you did replace it, right?)

Then go through the re-programming instructions like you did when you first got the phone to put your MDN (phone number) and MSID (may or may not be different from your MDN) into the phone. Then it will soft reset and you should be good to go.

After install and hard reset, I found that the sprint time sync was not installed. I entered the extended_rom and installed it, works fine now. Anyone else have same issue? Anything else not get installed? Other than that, no junk rom is great.

Great I will try that THANK YOU!

One question before I do this is there any way to see my MSID before reseting the phone? I just want to make sure its the same as my phone number.

##RTN# doent do anything for me.

I go to the phone dialer screen then click on ## then the numbers which have RTN in them # (so its (##786#) and it does not do anything.

I did some searching and found that spring has different ## codes then Verizon.

But some good news with all the hard resets the screen now says Initial Programming Required.

So its a step in the correct direction.

Yep, the ##RTN# screen will show you (before you hit "Reset").

Heh... OK. I made a cab file that programs in the ## codes (don't worry, once you master reset they will be gone along with everything else). Just unzip the file, bring over to your device and tap on it. It will import the registry entries that add the ability to do ##786# (there's nothing else in it). You might need to soft reset after it installs.

Then try to proceed with my earlier instructions.

Also check the PRL version shown on the ##RTN# screen and make sure it's a Verizon one (should be in the form 50XXX)

You did not hard reset after flashing the rom. If you think you did do it again. It will work.
