Thanks for the effort though.

Long story short, I was flashing back to stock SPL, using sd card, and pulled the sd card out while it was flashing (don't ask, I seemed to forget for a moment what I was doing and realized I needed my card for my other phone Now, I have the stock SPL, shows PANT200 SPL-0.36.0000 CPLD-2 when phone starts, and says Upgrade ROM code error Please Try Again. But, if I put my sd card in it with PANTIMG.nbh SPL file, then I get a screen that says "Loading...". And that's it, left it like that forever it seems and no change.

Any idea? It won't connect to the computer so I can't flash from computer. Even QPST won't find it.

TIA,
Malachi

I am really stuck like the above quote's with the same situation. My phone is stuck in the 3 bar color bootloader which says
PANT200
SPL-0.36.0000
CPLD-2
Upgrade ROM code error, please try again.

I have attempted to load the rom using a blank, formatted sd card with the renamed PANTIMG file but that only takes me to a gray screen which shows loading but never goes any further. I have read through all the posts and see mtty.exe was the solution. I have tried using mtty.exe but not sure how to do it. i have the usb plugged into the phone and computer (which doesn't recognize it) and selected the USB port in mtty. It says the USB is closed. What can i do at this point to get out of this bootloader screen so i can flash a stock rom? Is the phone bricked??

Thanks in advance

Re: Treo Pro CDMA HardSPL

Let me apologize up front here. First timer/newbie as far as phones go anyway.

I've been going through this step by step with no luck, reading tutorials and stickies but I must be missing something you guys are taking for granted.

I downloaded all the files, was able to connect and run the RUU but always boot back to 6.1.

“Extract to empty folder” Does that mean on the on PC or treo?

Do the RUU_signed.nbh and SSPL-Manual-PartnerCMA go in the same folder or elsewhere?

I follow steps in the RUU. When I get to step to verify updating from one ROM to new one, there is no choice to choose a different ROM.

"Take the file (RUU_signed.nbh) and put it in Cfay's custom RUU found here"

When I run the RUU, I don’t see an option to open a nbh file or “put in an RUU”
Thanks for any help!

depending on how u r flashing the rom. I only have a rom update utility, meaning i can only flash my stock rom via usb. if u have an sd card with a PANTIMG.nbh file on it. delete it or put it in a folder.
