Error 260 Connection. Won't flash

I had the same issue. Downloaded and installed the enablerapinew.cab referenced in the update program and then while the program was verifying I unplugged the sync cable and plugged it back in. Then it worked!

oh, it's not hard to get, extract it from resource section (after unpacking exe with upx) but I can post the NBH. let me know if needed.

you must read the instructions properly. phone must be in WM and syncd.

There is interest, especially at Treo Central.

However, it is not an HTC device but rather Inventec. Still, a lot of the ext Rom and layout might be similar to the Treo Pro as both have Palm's fingerprints all over it.

Plus I'm pretty sure someone will loan you the device for the task. The 800w has more issues that need addressing than the Treo Pro, so custom ROMs would be huge for those users.

Dont do it, you will end up with a nice black paper weight if it ever flashes, I doubt it.
