also for some reason using 21647 (rebuild 3 times) i had no text in Teeter of all things( I use it to level the device after flashing) on the menus, I just built on 23542 and the text is back on those menus (yes, no) and the whole (level 1 completed in how many tries etc text)(resume Quit) is back but missing 21647 any idea why?

I found out what was wrong with the icons...but i have no clue about teeter..i don't mess with the entertainment folder.

that's odd I just build with the same things set in the kitchen with

23542(kitchen original) teeter text fine/ and start/settings/input is back
21646 (welrope) no text on teeter menus, and start/settings/input is missing
aswell as a voicecommand but thats no problem
21647 no text on teeter no input office 2010 missing

im hoping the office 2010 icons and the start/setting/input icon are related two birds with one stone

one thing i noticed about 21646 and 21647 after going back to 23542 was that

216XX line dosent have the bouncy start menu effect,

on 23542 when you scroll it will bounce a little when it reaches the top or the bottom

I have reuploaded 21647-Thread and yes, the missing icons are one in the same. I accidentally packed it up after i removed the .lnks from the sys for my own use. It is ready for download. Not sure what the issue is with teeter, maybe try exchanging the entertainment packages from a working sys? I remove teeter when i cook or i would try it out.
Let me know if the icon issue is resolved.

Welrope thanks for all the work you do. It doesn't seem fair to you. Do you have any time to cook and flash? If you need any help, I would be happy to help. I would have to teach me what to do.
Just a note- 21057 has NetCF 2.0 in the sys. I think the sms patch in the kitchen uses NetCF 3.5.

Just flashed a new ROM using this updated 21647,

Good news first
-Office 2010 folder and icons are back
-start/settings/personal/buttons no longer takes forever to load

The bad:
-Teeter undoubtedly has some issues with any SYS that's not Calkulins original
(no text in menus, and fades to next level without prompting)

-Start/Settings/Input for keyboard options is still missing, but i did see the icon for it in the SYS so im not sure it's a hook in there that's still referring to your customized input icon? Im not sure

i want to add the footprints tab and am having issues. i'm using the same posted info i had before. it installs info in the start menu but not the tab itself. any ideas?

Teeter: still checking.

Input I have fixed. There is a registry setting the the SYS/21647/Shared/Common/Shell/ folder in the .rgu. I am going to post a instant fix which is to open your regedit and navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Input and delete the redirect key. Reboot and walla, it will be in the personal settings again.
Permanent fix for all my sys and will be incorporated into new ones. In the SYS/21647/Shared/Common/Shell/ delete the .rgu and paste the one i have posted here in there. Or simply go in the .rgu and delete the key yourself before you build. Either way, glad to put that one to bed.
