Have you been running 23557?, I have since this morning grabbed the download from alexx in the xda thread sorted and cooked seems to run really smooth and the menu / threaded e-mail bug is gone. RAM is holding up great and same with battery but it has only been about half a day so far, I tried 21646 and while it was nice I missed threaded exchange and some of the areas of menus for system things were not as finger optimized as the 235xx builds.

Thanks - I guess I was trying to make it too complicated. I'm using Indagroove's new kitchen based off the latest Sprint dump, and it has the manila tabs as individual EXT's. Guess I can just pull them all into one EXT then follow your advice. Thanks!

As long as this EXT is after the individual tab EXTs, it should overwrite the manila files already in the kitchen...

yeah, i havent ran it yeat as i dpent all day dumping all the new sys. i cant wait to try it, i got it from alex before he dumped it for xda. i have heard nothing but good about it!

so 23557 is recommended by the masses... looks like i will be cooking this weekend, update to follow

23557 running great for me as well...definitely a keeper...

Hay went and looked at the manila files and have attached the ones I think are defective. The quality on them i think is way to low. I don't have time to compare with the originals at the moment. If you replace them with the originals you should be fine or at least better.

** Kitchen feedback

[A] I downloaded all your kitchen files again to make sure I had the latest. One comment. You missed one old OEM in your cleanup. Remove old version 'System - SIM MGR 6.76.1.' from OEM folder

[B] Some feedback on the updater:

1. 'Volume_Control_2_2_20113531_00' -- version number in updater is older, and files app.reg, 0409.mui and imageinfo.bin are older.

2. 'Notification_Enhancement_3_5_20113824_00' -- version number in updater is older, but files are newer.

[C] Put the new 23557 SYS in

[D] Built just fine, flashed fine, UC ran, 96MB free RAM. I made the PP 6MB - think it needs to be a bit bigger.

he posted the optimized Manila a few posts back, without touching the pngs, he only cleaned up the extra language files, should be fine to re download that
