Hi,

Successfully upgraded to 29020 and it is very fast.

What is the story with the new OCing app WiMoSpeed? If you set the OC too high, will it reboot correctly to a lower speed if it crashes?

Previous software was installed to Storage Card and you could remove it....

Ever get that to download? Had the same issue when I tried to try out std version. Went thru Energy's website and worked 1st time.

Have moved to Energy.RHODCDMA.29020.Sense2.5.May.14 with CHT 1.8.5 cab install.
Very stable and fast. It is that fast that I missed to install the OC part. And for now I do no longer see the need to OC at least for how I use this devcie.
The BT pairing with a BMW 116 is working but calls can't be answered with the car. Audio is working fine so the Car is able to play the mp3's from the phone.

Bug REPORT:
-Fbook tabs sometime freeze - but unsure if it is a freeze, removing the stylus sometimes unlocks it.
The softbuttons don't vibrate when pressed - is there an option for that, or should i install touchresponse?
-Tried to 'open a video' but it said video player is unable to start this program because not enough memory. please close some programs and try again. Though I have nothing open.
-Can a spinning wheel be added to show when a process is happening, so hard to tell if the software is frozen or thinking.

My experience - Send contacts as MMS and not as SMS (Sprint aka CDMA - killed sending vCards through SMS %^% GSM will send through both SMS & MMS)

Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

QuickGPS not updating is a known issue. best to solve with a mort script that does the updating. will attach it once at desktop.
The mortscript gives options as to what time and how often u wish to update.
Works very well.

Thanks for the reply. I must have skipped over the mention in the wiki - the first time but I found it in there under Fix- but not tested.

(USB tethering works for me, BTW)

Also it seems my issue about not auto updating was related to my non-continual Slacker-playing. TCP window size was 13xxx and changing it to 65536 allowed Slacker to play for a couple hours before the need to skip a song (hung-up) and allowed for QuickGPS to update (Thanks again for the mort' and also it isn't too difficult to manually update once a week...LOL)

Yes, if you OC too high it will reboot to stock speed... unless you have it set in /Windows/Startup to start at boot. Recommend to install to storage card so no worry of being locked out. LINK to original thread with instructions to auto start at boot.

Here's the bottom line on getting Boost to work. I have Sprint TP2s with Energy ROMs on Boost with no issues, including working MMS.

1. use my energy_sprint_mms.cab file instead of the stock Sprint provisioning:

All this does over the regular one built in to the current ROMs is the Arcsoft UI MMS limits is updated to 5mb


2. load my attached custom registry file. It does 3 things:

a. sets the receive MMS server to specific known working one
b. sets the send MMS server to boost's.
c. sets the Append URI registry setting. THIS IS THE ONE that has prevented folks from having MMS work properly. I know, I went through EACH registry item from the other threads to determine which one was specific to making it work. The folks on howard forums also validated this is the primary registry item that broke things for boost users.

These 2 items are ALL that is needed for Boost to work with the CDMA Energy ROMs.


Teradog, I'll PM about putting in a simple wiki entry on getting Boost to work on CDMA Energy ROMs. The other Boost threads on PPC are too generic and meant mostly for stock sprint rom TP2s.

Thanks for posting this. I just flashed to the May14 Dinkglass and even after I applied your fix I had to change the CDMA server to mm.myboostmobile.com . maybe they changed something recently. The error I got was HTTP GET server error when I attempted to send a message. after i changed the server I have no problems at all. Thanks.
