I really like this ROM but I am having an issue with the HTC Music Player in the Sense tabs. It does not seem to detect my songs on my storage card. It just keeps displaying "Searching..." when I go to the Music tab.

Does the HTC Music Player work for other people? I am running this on my Sprint Touch Pro2.

I just flashed the May 15th 29020 Sense 2.0 Sencity version and my music tab is working okay. Also TP2 and music stored on my storage card.

I am running the standard one as well. The songs show up and play in Windows Media Player but HTC Music Player still doesn't seem to be finding my files that are on the phone and on the storage card. It just keeps showing Searching... I will try a hard reset when I get a chance but I just flashed the phone today.

Before you try a hard reset, save files from SD card and reformat, then replace files and see if it works. This may or may not work, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Would someone be so kind as to send me sincity 29020 version? I can't get it to download for nothing. I either get a 500 error, or download expired.

I have a ton of mp3's on my storage card. This have happen several times, hope you can fix it without a hard rest. If you do let us know.

To stop this from happening in the future, this is what I do and it has solved the problem.

When setting up a new rom or hard resetting. Take out your SD card so the U/C does not start. After the setup has finished, put your SD card back in, go to your media tab and/or media widget. It should find your music without a hickup, them start your U/C or Shasumi or what ever backups you use.

This has always done the trick for me. Hope it helps.

Aww, it isn't just me with the Random Quicklink replacements with CHT2.0......causes me to reload settings just about once or twice a day, but it basically is just restarting Sense. (Quicklink saved settings in CHTsettings shortcut saved to start menu is a huge help it getting those back in proper order (My Order))

+1 on toggling the Data of then on - If you use the switch to Roaming Only cab you need to do the toggle as well, same with switching from CDMA - to GSM/Global mode.

One minor bug I am experiencing from April 19th Sencity 29020 is that QuickGPS will fail to update after 7 days (expired time) with all settings enabled to be updated regardless of Roaming. - Not really a big deal since I can just manually update it with a quick click and before I don't think I went a whole week before reflashing the phone - so I couldn't tell you if it was like this before.....

QuickGPS not updating is a known issue. best to solve with a mort script that does the updating. will attach it once at desktop.
The mortscript gives options as to what time and how often u wish to update.
Works very well.
