OK, so I haven't been around much, .. but, what are you guys doing quoting a 13 month old 28008 sys ROM? A tad rusty but I believe that fix y'all are talk'n bout was a very very old fix to an old voice command for an old sys (Feb 2010)??? Actually 2009!

Oh, yea.. all that talk about zero page pool... lol Love it! Still do it. But like I've said a few times.. you can't do it without either using NRG's start menu layout switch (dumping windows startmenu) AND/OR dumping Cookie/Sense. I use it, but start with 135mb free RAM. ROCKS

12mb = 75 MB free out of 187 (drop of 6)
16mb = 73-72 MB free out of 183 (drop of 2-3)
20mb = 70-69 MB free out of 179 (drop of 4)
24mb=65 MB free out of 175 (drop of 4ish)
32mb= 57 MB free out of 167 (drop of 8 on 8 change)
64mb= 25MB free out of 135 (drop of 32 on 32 change)

0mb = 60MB free out of 199 OS suppose to dynamically allocate! Running this one now!!

You can see zero starts out as if setting pp to 28 or 30! It takes up a bunch, works super fast, gives back when needed... but DO NOT use (unless you like getting apps closed.. etc.. too many to mention) unless you use a startmenu &/or home/today replacement.

Oh yea, thanks again to mwalt!!! He retired me.. lol, not much on graphics, but he got me a couple of hex edits on a couple sys files, then matching reg edits... got rid of all my task & softkey bars, 100% native transparency on all screens, no cookie, no sense! Most important, no extra RAM use!!! It was the final of the final... but now? drm & bt hang...

Anyone else having issues with the start menu replacements in the 26th ROMs? I can only get the standard and list versions to work. It may be something in my UC, but I figured I would ask before debugging.

Fresh 29020 build, thanks to DFT

• Volume control changed for Rhodium(s), Topaz and Imagio to older, more compatible style (bars on the left side of the screen)
• GTX slider graphics improvements thanks to eac
• "Update album art in sense" bug finally killed forever
• uTask by ultrashot cooked in to replace Ameba (will give this a trial run, let me know how it behaves in the ROM for you)
• More tweaking to video codecs

Great minds think alike...I was just coming on to ask the same thing. I've got the same problem. Maybe related to uTask? On the plus side, the regular menu is amazingly quick. Not sure if that's a 20920 thing or I've been using the panel menu too long.
