Having an issue where "HTC" shows up when I hit "All messages". It takes 10-15 minutes to fix itself, but it's real annoying when I reboot my phone.

Also anyone else have an issue where Wifi turns on its own?

Speaking of BT, do you have problem with losing the headphone pairings? I do not have a volume problem with my S9 Moto headphones, but seems the pairing does not stick and I have to re-establish it or delete and redo everyday when I reconnect the headphones at the gym. I did not have this problem with the stock Sprint ROM.

if i'm going to connect the laptop to my phone via usb to maintain the battery, what's the best way to tether? usb or wifi? it sounds like for wifi tethering i simply use "wifi router." do i use "internet sharing" for usb or something else?
Correct..
Tether = USB
The definitionn of tether: "noun. a rope, cord, etc. fastened to something to ..."

But now tethering has morphed by some into wifi as well, "wifi tether" or simply tether & they mean wifi sharing..
99% of the people that use the built in wifi router (HTC's), do so without issue "stealth". Use the search for a zillion threads on this topic, specifically the ones where people were charged & found out if you're concerned.

Do we have to make registry changes for tethering on sprint?
My current setting is
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\settings]
ForceCellConnection="Phone as Modem"

Shouldn't this be "Sprint"?

lmao, well my cab uses kevintmr's great audiopara.csv. i added registry edits to make the phone louder in addition to his csv. unfortunately, there are no registry entries for bluetooth volume.

well my headphones connect automatically. ive only had them since last night but i havent had to reconnect/pair them.

my handsfree connects automatically but i have to press the "multifunction/power" key on the headset for the a2dp to connect though.

Dude, you're overthinking this, NRG did all the work for us. Here's what I do: 1. plug your phone into the computer. 2. select "Internet Sharing" from the 3 options on the phone 3. wait a minute to see if WMDC opens, if it does close it. 4. select "connect" lower left on the phone. 5. you are now online anywhere, even driving down the interstate (did that last week). This is exactly what I do every time and have never received any problems from sprint about it. Good luck.

Thank you. I guess the Wifi-Router in the Comm Manager is good to go as well.
