I'm on 12/01 21916 sense rom and I noticed that format sd card under settings > system does not work. can't even get it to open, get an error that the card is damaged as soon as I click it, but the card works and total commander recognizes it. anyone else notice this problem?

Format SD card in Energy roms has not seemed to work for quite some time. I just format via card reader on PC. Actually I use a little program for formatting SD card [think it's on the attachment page].

one way to get more ram is to use a different start menu layout, mine was about the same as yours and then i switched to the panel start menu layout and now i'm around 90mb free, just go to start>settings>start menu layout and pick which start menu you want, i think panel is the most like it is in sense and gives you more ram, but i believe that compact start menu gives you the most free ram, try them all out if you want and see which one works best and gives you the most free ram, all they require is a soft reset to get them to work.

yeah that function hasn't worked in so long that i don't even check it so i just pull the card and stick it in a external card reader and format it that way.

Is anyone having trouble with Klaxon (the alarm app) not working? I noticed it works less than half the time. Is anyone else having this problem? It used to work...before I got the Dec5 rom.

why not just use the built in alarm, i know it doesn't have a lot of the extra's, but the alarm works and so does the snooze function, just curious?

Does someone have instructions for moving my email (exchange) from NAND to SD? For me, that will free up a bunch of memory.

I dont like the built-in alarm because:
1. while it is pretty flexible, you can only have 3 different alarm times. I need 5
2. you depend on the system volume. that isnt very helpful if you turn the phone volume off before you go to bed.
3. you cant use your own ringtones. i like my chirping birds in the morning, then my coffee commercial jingle 15 minutes later, and my Turtles cartoon song waking me on the weekend.
