Guys i need a lil bit of help i use a program called epocrates ( an excellent medical program IMHO) but for some reason it doesnt show the side scrolling bars when im using 6.5.x roms , it does work perfectly with the regular 6.5 rom ( with the start key on top) but unfortunatly i like the new 6.5.x version so much better than the old one. So my question is

1) is there anyway to get those side scrolling bars to show?

If not then long long ago when i had my origional TP i used to use a custom rom by Psyche and he had this thing built in where u could use the volume rockers ( up or down ) as the pageup and pagedown key when file browsing / web page reading and even in programs so is it possible to get that functionality in my current rom ( its the nov 2nd sencity 6.5.x rom)? and of course how any links /how to's would be highly appreciated.

you can always use rhodium keyboard controller to program the volume up and down keys to do just that. i used it for the microsoft reader program because we don't have a dpad, i have the volume up and down keys to turn pages up or down.

just one question about that though will i lose the vol up and down function though ? cuz i use it regularly to silence/vibrate my phone

you can set it so that the change in the volume keys function is only in that one particular program.

just do a search for rhodium keyboard controller and i am sure you can find a tutorial for setting it up.

wow, i never thought that the SD card could be the source of the problem. for some reason i think that will do the trick. i will give it a day and let you know how that works. You will be a life saver if it does thanks a mil

just a follow up to my last post. the SD card format didnt work. I flashed back to stock rom and still have SOD, so im guessing i have a hardware issue. luckily im still under manufacturers warranty. time to relock and take it back to sprint. thanks for the help, hopefully my new phone can OC faster that 729
