So far I'm really enjoying the customizable aspects of the Cookie 2.0, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having any issues with text messages. I flashed the 679 yesterday and the updated to the latest Sept 27 WM6.5.X CHT 2.0 Dinik Glass 21679 today, and I keep missing texts. Not that they are disappearing, but the text count seems off.

If I get one text, it vibrates and then gives me a notification, but then the text count resets to 0 without me checking it. If I get multiple texts at the same time, the count increases and then drops by one. It's almost like it thinks that I'm reading the text despite not viewing the text.

(Also, sense seems to flicker every-time that I get an email or a text. Not a deal breaker, just kind of a small annoyance to have to deal with the have such a bad a$$ looking phone.)

Anyone here getting higher 3g speeds on your tp2 (speed tests with or without tethering) since 4g has hit your area? Many are reporting much higher 3g speeds...? Some are suggesting it's the 1G processor of the EVO... but I'm not so sure...

People are saying the EVO snapdragon is really slow (especially compared to the 1G Humming Bird...) WAG (wild a$$ guess) -> if the EVO is running around 850 mhz performance wise... & we can OC a TP2 to 800... hmmm

try this bro and see if it helps, go to menu>CHT Editor>Widget settings>messages and check what your settings are for marking the messages as read, looks to me that it's going to mark the message as read at two seconds, try turning it off and see if that fixes your issue, do the same for email if your having an issue with that, please report back so in case someone else has the issue we'll know if that fixes it, thanks.

Thanks for the help! At first, it didn't appear to work, but once I did a soft reset, it seems to be sticking. I sent some tests and they all stayed in the count. I'll keep an eye on it and update if needed, but it looks like this is the right fix for it.

I can"t text on the quicklinks to appear. I have them checked as on...three times...no workie. I have several contacts that I use as quicklinks that don't have photos. I need the text. Any ideas? Overall very fast and smooth for me. The quicklinks settings are confusing but got something worked I could live with. Maybe not as user friendly...for me...I need to do some reading.

Also, noticed the interface added an option this ROM "Phone As Modem", still selecting "Sprint" obviously...

I am using the 9/27 21679 Dinik Cookie 2B on Sprint and I am tethering fine no problems. Have fresh flash installed only some base apps no tweaks yet.

you are quiet welcome bro, i have been through the settings multiple times and remember seeing that setting to mark a message as read within 2 seconds, figured it was worth a try, glad it's working out bro.
