I was about to report a bug that when you are on homescreen, when you press the DIAL "green" button, It wouldn't open. At first, I thought something was wrong with the my key because I had dropped my phone early morning.
Then received NRG's Tweet.

So just press the Start menu > then GREEN Key to enter Dial mode.

Well Cookie himself says the phone key bug is a confirmed issue. Workaround until then... just open the start menu, then you can open dialer

I think the Cookie 2.0 is a big battery eater. Looks great - Slow but I think I'm going to flash back. I'll try again later. Thanks for the good work.

I can't really comment on that but have you given it a day or two?

Usually after each flash, batteries drains fast. After the rom is well settled, battery goes back to normal.

Wow, I must have been lucky, in mine, doesn't matter in what screen or menu (or hard key), the dialer opens instantly.
