if anyone has the 4 September 23xxx/24xxx whatever series of the rom was on that date and has it uploaded to somewhere can you please pm me a link so i can download it, i accidentally deleted it and i want to have a copy as a back-up since I'm going to try out the 14 September rom and if i don't like it i want to be able to fall back to the rom I'm using now, thanks.

lol wishful thinking, although i doubt you will ever see that, the Chef's tend to want to keep track of how many downloads they get. also i just downloaded the 13 September Dinik Glass and it only took like 8 minutes so that's pretty damn fast for a 166 MB file, no complaints here.

If so, 2 main problem areas:

HOTFILE ISSUES 2 PROBLEM AREAS:
1. Browsers:
Don't double click the links, (click slowly), a double could be interpreted as a 2nd hit... download! (making you wait for another 1/2 hour) Some browsers (your settings also) have a single click to activate a link, some with a double... if you double click a single setup, then it's like requesting another download (& you go straight to jail & do not pass go..monopoly pun... wait 1/2 hour)
Change browsers &/or delete cache,&/or use "cleanup", a great windows cleaning prog... more importantly.. OPEN IT WIDE OPEN! Allow all cookies, 3rd party, java, etc... NO BLOCKS (the first time)

2. IP addr
If tether or wifi router on phone, shut phone off/reboot & start up again, will give you a new IP. You need a new IP as hotfile will see 2 downloads req w/in the same 1/2 hour.
Reboot your cable or dsl modem to get new IP also (most have a dynamic IP & will give you a new one .. wait a couple min. w/ power off) Some won't work as their ttl (time to live) is set too high, but often works fine. &/or Use a proxy to DL & get a new IP!

** do steps 1 & 2 at the same time before trying a new download **

3. DL to your phone & then copy to PC, try it with Skyfire as it IS a proxy of sorts.

I've got superb reception (use field trial & look @ dbm, try to get it in the -50's, closer to zero is better), I DL wifi tether @ 10min flat! just under 300KB/s (x8=2.4Mbps DL speed.. 8 bits/byte)

I have it. Whats the best way to get it to you? Upload to my google docs or skydrive? I think there is a file size limit.

My guess it that he's in California or West cost

(ha! remember my post about me a beta tester working for free for a rich guy on a hill in Redmond Wa? Bill Gates aka NRG?!! :>))

my post was 2 something am, which puts it around midnight west cost, when I was DL'ing the first ROM's it kicked back & started again, as he was still uploading while I was trying to DL
He was probably fininshing the cooking or uploads of standard's around midnight, giving the 14th on the last of them... I know they were the last ones up as I watched them..

Yeah, I usually look at the cookie downloads and not the standard. Somehow missed your post. I think that was before I had my third cup of coffee.
