yeah but what i don't see and would have liked to was that he did something so the battery would last longer, my phone charged all night with no use and when i took it off the charger it was at 98% already, i'll give it all day to see how it goes but i have a feeling that i'm going to have to fall back to his 22nd august 23xxx rom <sighs>.

I promised myself im going to stick to 8/22 since it has been amazing for me.
Amazing to the point, I forgot WIFI turned on and went to sleep at 1 am. Woke up 8am (7hours later). Dropped from 70% to 50%. Unbelievable, 20% with 7hours of wifi. WOW. ITS A KEEPER.

BUT THEN, NRG plays with my mind. He posts this on TWITTER.

why thank you sir!! the old original post are all still there lol just where the name used to be Num5kull27 they all have Straitup27 beside them now,kinda wish when the name change happened it would have left the old one beside all the old post but all those original post are buried deep deep in the touch pro threads,yeah i been gone a bit,do a lot of beta testing which is fun.

But NRGZ roms were the very first rom i ever flashed so this is and always has been "home" so i thought it was time to visit the good ol' homestead!! once a NRGZ addict always a NRGZ addict!!

if you got a "golden rom" hang on to it,i have some dating back to 5/10

but with that being said also know you cannot base results of battery life of a recent rom based on ppl's results,too many variables come into play,best any user can do is flash it and try it out for yourself,we all use our phones differently so we are all gonna have different results,usage,signal strength,updates and ect. and how the individual user sets their device up is ultimately gonna be the deciding factor of how much "life" they get out of a full charge............and the fact that htc batteries are just shit doesn't help either

Yes you are right.

Its just I always want to have the newest stuff on my phone. I always get seduced by the latest roms, though I barely see any changes from Cookie to Cookie except for battery. Speed and stability usually remains the same.

agreed im a sucker for all the newest stuff myself,and your correct about the only changes are minor graphic changes and new updated packages and ect.

RE Battery:
I just hit a milestone - one that I have not passed on the TP2 up until now. I have now gone 48.5 hours on a SINGLE charge! And....I still have 40% left. I'm going to carry my spare battery with me to see how far I can go before I have to swap out.

Kiowa, when I first flashed 9/4 it seemed like my battery dropped VERY fast but after a couple days it did settle in and has been stellar ever since.

I have been doing a lot of Facebooking, texting and wifi tethering for the last couple days and its been great. Also taken several pictures, checked the weather many times and lots of texting.

I may have gotten lucky with a "good" phone in that everything just works great. Overclocking has been rock solid at 729 and I may bump it up a little when I get home to see how things work.

Like I said yesterday though I AM using a non-OEM battery that may be the reason things are so good.

For anyone interested, I got it as a "set" on amazon for under $30.00. I got two 1800mAh batteries and a "pocket" wall charger that the battery slips into. So, I always have one battery charged and one in the phone. I also have my OEM as a backup incase I need it. Up until now, I have been on the new 1800mAh battery. At the rate I've been going, I'm guessing that I'll be switching out sometime this afternoon.

as for the 24xxx base, it seems like it is "more" finger friendly than 23xxx. Momentum scrolling seems more fluid and like NRG said, it is "FAST" (besides the overclocking)
