i dont know if its 21914 or not but i am having freezing issues and my touch screen intermittently wont work but my hardware keys do with the new 6.5 rom.

I agree that nuebattery is a good program, but your not going to get that type of charge out of a usb port, your only going to get like 200 mA out of a usb 2.0 port, and you have to take in more of a charge than he's using, so he needs to make sure that he doesn't have programs running in the background checking for email, weather and any other type of updates while he's trying to internet share, and he probably needs to slide the phone open so it doesn't get to warm because as us that came from the TP1 know the phone would quite charging if it got to warm, which I have never heard of on the TP2 but just to make sure, that's my 2 cents.

Just downloaded the reference 6.5.x rom...loving it so far. One question I had is in regards to the lock screen. I set up lock device to lock when I turn the screen off, however if the keyboard is flipped open the lock goes away, and this seems to happen alot when its in my case. Is there a way to make it so the lock screen persists even if the keyboard is accidentally opened and sense goes to horizontal mode?

How much free RAM is the is the new Aug 24 cookie ROM staying around? I went to Basic sense 2.5 because of the extra RAM and am wondering how the two compare with the new fixes.

Why not search on ebay for a replacement screen. That's what I ended up doing when I ran into this problem and it only cost $60.

I tried the cookie energy yesterday, provisioned it for Sprint. Did some heavy internet, multiple windows open, some music and had about 22mb. Closed all the apps and ran the memory cleaner and it went up to about 46ish.. but dropped down to about 43 sitting idle. I ended up going back to a different rom, and get about 115 on boot and about 70-80mb after the same tests (with spb mobile shell on a titanium rom)

Thanks for the quick response! I dont think that 43 sitting idle is bad at all, did you change the pagepool at all or just run it as it is? I am back in school right now and I need to schedule a bunch of stuff and will be using my phone heavily so I do not want to run into issues if I can help it.

I ran that rom for about 4 hours or so, so I didn't spend a huge alot of time with it. I disable the FB and Twit tabs (I think someone was having issues with that, but i don't use them.) The new Sense he is using did appear to be smoother, especially after waking up it was much quicker. I didn;t change the page pool (what is it at 22 or so?) I may try it again and lower the pagepool. I hear from some its too high for cdma phones, but.. I can't confirm or deny if thats true. Oh btw, i am using the 21xxx builds, the 23xxx are just not stable enough for me.

EDIT2... I was talking about the Aug 22 Rom, Sorry didn't notice u meant the 24th, but now there's a 25th (even though it's still aug24th EST)

Oh my, so now there's an august 25th ROM (and a 24th i didn't even notice either till now) So i'm gonna try that out for fun, I'm bored on this rainy Tuesday... I hope to find a rom that works for me soon, or i am going to have to go to Flash-A-Holics Annonomous for some treatment.
