lol i don't know if it's just me reading to much today or what, but i'm a little confused by what you typed, are you saying that you had the phone on sprint and then deactivated and switched to another carrier and sold the phone to a friend that reactivated it with sprint again and you already had an NRG rom on it?

well if provisioning didn't work the first time I would try it again, sometimes some people have issues and has to run it more than once to get it to work and then make sure to soft reset the phone afterwards and you can also install the attached cab file and see if that helps.

Re: |RHODCMDA|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- Energy -.¸¸.·´¯ * |Aug 18| 21914|23678 * Sense 2018

Here's a screenshot of my setup on the Aug 18th Energy Sense 2.1 21914. I leave most everything "Energy 2009" themed and I make the call history, calender, and voicemail alert shortcuts invisible by using Pegasus's Clean Slate cab. The taskbar I use is the Energized taskbar made by CMYLXGO, along with the Energized 1% battery icon. I also use PurianS 6.5 No Top & Bottom Curtains cab to give my screen a cleaner look.

Finally, on my programs tab, I install a cab that removes the back from the program icons, making the icons themselves stand out better.

So far, this ROM is for the most part flawless. Everything, including MMS works and I haven't had one instance of Sense freezing. I switched back to 2.1 about 3 weeks ago and have been absolutely loving the speed, vs the lag of 2.5!

Another thing you don't experience on this 2.1 ROM is ransom program closing due to insufficient memory, because Sense 2.1 isn't a RAM hog like 2.5. I'm sure 2.5 would be amazing on an HD2 the the 1Ghz Snapdragon, but I think me and my outdated 528Mhz processor are sticking with Sense 2.1.

Thanks again for the stellar ROMs NRG!

so am I the only one on the latest Energy WM6.5 (18th that is) that has the taskbar issue where the signal strength and activesync icon cant stop fighting each other... even when plugged unplugged, soft-reset when unplugged...

tried quite a few things... going back to Standard.Reference for now, dont have that issue with it...

(and as an additionally note all "Energy" releases have had this issue for me, at least the last 3 i was actually here for to try )

Try installing the taskbar I'm using. Install Taskbar first, and then the 1% battery cab. This fixed taskbar icons freezing for me.

Re: |RHODCMDA|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- Energy -.¸¸.·´¯ * |Aug 18| 21914|23678 * Sense 2018

OK here is kind of a dumb question, but what differences are there between the 21xxx and 23xxx Energy ROMs? I know that Microsoft says 23xxx is more finger friendly, but with the Energy ROMs it just don't see it.

The main differences I see are:
23xxx:
1. clock in upper right for all pages
2. arkswitch
3. bottom start and X
4. larger memory footprint
5. slightly more laggy
6. memory management different

21xxx:
1. task manager in upper right instead of clock
2. start on upper left
3. no arkswitch
4. smaller memory foot print
5. apps close when you hit X instead of going to the background

GUI wise I just don't see any difference. I prefer 23xxx for some reason, but get frustrated 'cause it just does not seem as stable. I'm trying to figure out why I prefer 23xxx. I use the windows hard key for start, and remove the windows soft key from 23xxx, wish I could remove the start soft key from 21xxx as I don't use it.

What other differences do all ya'll see?

thanks,
dave
