anyone having a texting issue with the latest release? it will not let me compose a new text nor does it show as sent. (and im not talking about the "message sent")

Hey all.

I want to thank everyone on this forum for making my experience with the NGR rom just...great. I'm really learning a lot and having fun and beginning to feel like I know just enough to get into AND out of trouble on my own. I'm also just figuring out how this whole "thanks" thing works, so...

Anyway -

Just flashed the Aug18 rom - 18pp

ArcSwitch says 71mg of 181 free righ after boot. just about to start loading up apps. Looking forward to seeing how this one works out.

Wasn't too fond of the Aug13 ROM. Even after deleting the HTC folder on SD - Calendar entries on home page (three rows) would take 12 minutes or so to fill after reset. Random system freezes. CHT lockscreen was glitchy - pauses before home screen, occasional non responsive for 5-8 seconds, random resets...So, yeah. Looking forward to seeing if Aug 18 will be better.

If not, I'm going back to Aug 6. So far, that ROM has been my best experience yet. If I wasn't such a New / Better / Flash hobbyist, I'd've just left it alone. but you know how it is... I had speed, stability, and Great battery life. I would consistently have 45-48% battery after a day of moderate use, including lots of email, texts and a bit of music...

Anyway, thanks again for all the great posts and thanks are a coming!

Still having problems with 23xxx DinikGlass Aug 18. Sense just keeps crashing on me. I tried Task29 this time and it didn't help. Back to 23xxx DinikGlass Aug 10 for me. Even Aug 10 has a few random Sense hangs but 13th and 18th are unusable for me.

The only problem that Im having right now is sending MMS with Aug 13 and Aug 18 idk whtz wrong iwth it I had Apr 20 b4 nd it ran fine i could send and recieve smh idk what to do can someone help me with a fix or a step by step guide?

This is what I'm seeing as well. I'm trying the Aug18 reference build to see if the removal of cookie helps me. So far I've been pounding it pretty hard without issues.

So far 8/18 23678 cookie is fine, havent experienced any battery drain, hanging or anymore freezing yet... I flashed last night, installed cabs, put in settings, logged into all my programs, heavy texting & a little browsing on Opera and I ended up at 50% before bed then woke up to 44% this morning. This battery life is great so far because after 6 hours Im at 38% right now.
I find it weird that some are having these bad issues with the ROMs, either they had a bad flash or they need to take a good look at the cabs they use (assuming there is nothing wrong with the phone)

So MMS is not working at all for u? (just clerifying)

is there a way to install an imnutz arcsoft over the one that is built in? the one built in has a tiny size limit where as the imnutz one has like 5 mb. However, every time I try to install it it says not successful because it doesnt have proper system permissions. I know that cab is good because I use it on every other rom besides NRGZ.

anyone?

mine is 5.2.12.62, I'll try yours but Im guessing its not going to have sufficient permissions
