As you seen from the downloads section NRG doesn't keep the older versions of the ROM on there, so unless you can find someone with a copy and have them host it long enough for you to get it you're not going to get it, that's why I personally always keep the previous ROMs until I know for sure that I'm not going to need them.

yep, voice recognition is 10 times as good as it used to be.
used "hypnotic2010 tellme.cab" search 4r it as i typed it.

I don't think it's anything special & haven't had time to diagnose all of my tellme cabs.. but it works great for me. I use voice command to pull up tellme (hold off hook button down till double beep) & say
"open tellme", then speak into tell me. Use it mostly for sending text messages (voice to text conversion) must have quiet background... but recently it performs web searches great also..

It seems the faster I talk in all the voice stuff, the better it understands me?!
I find the version of tellme by hitting the bottom right softkey, options (on the right side arrow), settings, it's grayed out on the bottom left, Version 1.0.1... the same as some of the other versions I've used.

ok. just in the playing around ive done with almost all the versions of this rom since about april, i would like to see a version or two without ark switch. I feel like it may cause more problems than good. we can get by with task manager for a few versions... I kinda just wana see if we will see less glitches

Glad I could help, seems to be quite the popular overlooked setting, One of the first settings I tweak after every flash

I've just been accustomed to two separate volumes from the days of WM 5, keeping my ringer volume low or even off from time to time, such as at work.

I do have the cookie rom. It seems that when I do that it shows "Test Appointment 1" and I can't seem to get rid of it.

If this is the case, from the homescreen go under Menu>Edit Home Layout> [whatever your current layout is, probably "Main Home"] >Advanced, then you might have "Show Tasks" ticked. From there, you can do whatever customization you please, but it sounds like you would rather have the "Show Appointments" option selected.
