My 2 cents on which ROM.. lot's of complaints & discussion... here's my last couple of weeks...

..was really sick of 569, it was out forever & I didn't like the build in the first place.
- went to 911 even though i don't like start & X key at top, also always had issues getting into settings with win key
- jumped to 673, loved it, but all kinds of strange stuff happened (disappearing icons tried spacing got a little better, kept jumping back to home, bunch more
- jumped to 121 asap & LOVE IT. don't know why they went so far back in numbering.. didn't bother to google... all icon issues, home jumps, etc.. went away. started overclocking & runs lightning fast
- a new 673 was post a couple days ago.. no thanks, to many issues with it the first time.. (but NRG said he messed with the timing.. so perhaps that fixed most issues).. I'd probably jump to it, but I have no reason to. All my voice stuff works perfect all together in harmony for the first time in any rom.. MSVC, TELLME, BING & GOOGLE. Happy camper..

If the dialer never gave u any kind of location of the caller than the reg tweak from sammich will not work, it only gives people a wider database so people can get a more details like specific cities instead of how some dialers only say the state or the closest MAJOR city. If there is a way to change the dialer on this ROM then this lil tweak will work easy... I could be wrong tho, if I am I hope someone corrects me so I dont pass around wrong info

You are correct.....custom dialers are what breaks it.....if you really want it to work.....revert back to the stock dialer....

In my Sense, Mail tab, I have 3 mails set up, and each mail has over 4,000 mails.

This slows down Sense. How can I limit my settings to 20 ONLY/mail.

I am using GTX 23673 and cant find the settings.

I've been using MaxSense 21911 with only 2 issues which I resolved by removing AudioManager_Eng reg tree and hitting "SET" on the calendar when I accidentally hit top right of time. After removing registry and pressing "SET" instead of "CANCEL" I've had 0 issues and 0 lockups. I don't use the Carrier Provisioning but moved the .LNK to \windows\start menu\settings just in case I ever needed it. Phone stays at 20% - 26% (and up to 32% if I use clearRAM) every day. List of installed apps: Pandora, cleanRAM, Sprint Navigator, Navigon, .NET VNC Viewer, Panoramic Calc Pro, Sprint Keyboard Fix and Rhodium Keyboard Control (great to map FN + X,C,V,Z,Y,A to simulate CONTROL keys that way I dont install FingerKey keyboard)

I'm even using it on an HTC Imagio and a Sprint Touch Pro all 3 working great. Only issue on all 3 is the Music Player and no music on phone or SD, but removing the reg tree worked on all 3 installs, 0 lockups as well on all 3. Too bad MaxSense didn't come out on newer releases of Touch Pro and Imagio. (I even have a Sprint Diamond but MaxSense is not on the download list so I didn't even bother to install on it)

I'm on 21911 and my calendar on the home layout page doesn't update correctly. It still says appointment tomorrow at 9:00 am but that appointment was 2 days ago and not updating. Is there a setting I have wrong?

Are you on a cookie ROM? If so, it sounds like you could possibly have the tasks panel up with an overdue "to do" item rather than the calendar panel. If this is the case, from the homescreen go under Menu>Edit Home Layout> [whatever your current layout is, probably "Main Home"] >Advanced, then you might have "Show Tasks" ticked. From there, you can do whatever customization you please, but it sounds like you would rather have the "Show Appointments" option selected.

a While back, someone asked a question and never got an answer if doable or not.

In the Mssages tab, when you press on a message, it takes you to the reply. But when you open the keyboard, the cursor goes away and u have to tab the screen in order to type or else it won't type.

Is there a tweak to be done to just open the keyboard and start typing instead of everytime pressing the screen?

Is there any way to get the GTX 23121 ROM?
I'm not liking the GTX 23673 ROM as much.
The Cookie Family of ROMs link doesn't include the GTX 23121 from 7/21/10.
Any help?
