Is anyone else having connection issues after using Task29? I think they might have started before using it, but it's much worse now; I can't Task29 anymore or install a ROM. I get an error message "device not recognized" or something like that. It happens right when the progress bar appears on the device.

I'm sure I'm going to get flamed for this, but I need some clarification on the MMS fixes. I tried this fix, and it works. However, it disables HTC MMS, which I really want to keep because I don't like the disabled HTC messaging feature.

I tried the MMS fix on the first page (Valkerie), and changed the settings to my Sprint server, but it doesn't work. I went into regedit to make sure Arcsoft is setup properly, and still nothing.

Am I doing something wrong, or does HTC messaging just not work with Sprint?

I really don't like the disabled MMS option. It's extremely complicated to send MMS messages.

This is the problem that has been going on for sometime. There are a lot of people out there that would rather have the new HTC Messaging. Unfortunately, the HTC messaging was too buggy, so the people working on the Valkyrie mod have given up. There was a Valkyrie/CDMA specific thread on people trying various combinations. Right now the best you can do is send MMS but not recieve. It is an unfortunate reality I have come to accept. Oh well.

Is it just me or does the GTX rom not show the weather animation on the home screen? like clouds going across the sceen when its cloudy and rain and thw wipers when its raining ete etc. Is there some thing i need to do to re-enable it or what?

Set one of your quicklinks as the weather animation on/off switch. Or you can go into the cht editor and turn it on. I think it's under misc. settings
