Anyone have an issue with the may 9th ROM Twitter tab not updating until you tab to it?

I have it set to check every 5 minutes and it seems like unless I tab to it and/or manually update it....it doesn't happen. Any suggestions?

Hm well I just got an update within minutes of it being posted. You can have your data settings set to a weird setting, or the actual twitter settings could be wrong.. Try restarting TF3D by going into settings, then today, then clicking the HTC sense box to deactivate, then re-click it to reactivate. If you go to the Twitter tab, then hit settings, then you might see that the "Download tweets automatically" box is set to 1 hour, which is the default. If none of this works, I don't know what to tell ya :P
Thanks if it worked

So, it's been a whole day and no feedback on May 13th?
I'm downloading now to test it out.

Amazing how fast our chef moves, I have been on vacation for a week and come back to find that I missed the May 9th release and already have a new, newer ROM to play with...

Maybe the chef should be taking a break. That guy has been putting out roms non-stop for so many devices. If you dont' want to miss anything, then maybe you should think for a second before vacationing.

DOH! I realized what is happening. I am getting notifications for direct messages and stuff but general tweets, I don't get notified. Is it supposed to work that way? If so, can I adjust a registry entry to get notified for every tweet?

Sashimi does take about a good 20 seconds to get started from the Total Commander but it just gives me the comfort of knowing that the ROM is/isn't at fault.

*Edit* One other thing I have found to be very useful with Sashimi is being able to maintain the start menu folder system that NRG has. All my app links are but right in their perspective folders and the start menu remains clean and uncluttered. I am not sure if UC does that but I have Sashimi already set for all my regularly installed cabs.
I understand your concerns. NRG just put together a user guide for his version of XDA_UC. His version allows you to install apps to specific start menu folders. See here.

I don't touch anything and XDA installs automatically to my device and then to the storage card. I'll find that post NRG made that explains the whole thing
