That sucks. This is becoming a real issue for me with this ROM series...

I am using the May 1 Cookie ROM (and have used many earlier EnergyROM versions) with my Exchange 2010 server (and used 2007 in the past) just fine...in fact I just got done doing my EAS a few min ago... Everything working ok....

Message me if you need help...I am pretty up on MS Exchange, and I need to give back to the community (been a lurker for much of my time)...

I love xda_uc and nrgz restore program, but as to "ghosting" , I always use sprite backup. I have for years all the way back to my axims and would not be without it. I backup my phone once a day and in the event of a crash or I install something I don't like, it takes about 5 mins to back out of it and restore.

Also when upgrading to a new rom, a lot of the time you can just use it to restore your settings, easy as that. I does not work as well if major change has been done to the rom, like Cookie 1.6 to 1.7.

Anytime I start from scratch with a new rom I put the old rom, a copy of my sd card and my latest sprite backup in a folder on my PC. If I don't like the new, I am back to the old in about 20 min.

Then it must be a local regkey or something on the phone because I can flash back to April 23rd and Exchange works just fine.

Hey does everyone's phone data connection stay connected even though its not necessary? I don't know if its killing my battery or not but I assume so. Is there any way to kill the data connection or set it to stop after no new updates for a minute or something? I set my gmail to check for new mail once every hour but last time I checked my phone the data connection was active for the past 65 hours...

Same for me...AES is, and has been working fine for me on this and previous Energy ROM's. I am running Exchange 2007 with certs. I can also sign and encrypt email just fine...

What are you asking? XDA_UC and Exchange are two completely different things. XDA_UC is an automatic customization tool for WinMo, and Exchange is an email server application.

Go to Start>Internet>Select 'Data Controller'. Under 'Menu', choose the 'timeout' setting you want. Problem solved
